What do sexy women, ninjas, and evil spirits bent on the destruction of all living creatures have to do with each other? Absolutely everything! In this installment of the prolific Ninja Vixens series that is.
In Demonic Sacrifices, we find the remnants of the clan under the leadership of Lord Yukinaga, the deposed Christian Lord that was suppose to have been executed. He and his few remaining members try to live a peaceful life, along with the children of the fallen clan. But all is not to be as hoped. When Firefly & Goemon, our intrepid ninja vixen and the man she loves, return from their mission to find the legendary Sword of Deus, they only find that their simple existence has been shattered. The last of the clan have been wiped out, including the children. In despair, Goemon plunges the Sword of Deus into the blood soaked cursed ground, granting the final wish of Lord Yukinaga. Before his death, he had cursed God for allowing this to happen and for not intervening. Once again, a battle of good versus evil must be waged.
Firefly and Geomon are joined by fellow Vixens; Dogwood, Flame, and Whirlwind, along with Master Hanzo. They pick up the honor-bound mission to save the world from war and the evil spirits bend on bringing all the living to the Demon World.
The production quality is good and as expected in a B-movie series, with the standard special effects you would expect from such a production. There are several sword battles, but all are relatively short which leaves you longing for a bit more action, even with the half-clothed fight of Lady Yodo. There is even a rather odd and somewhat humorous CG battle with an evil skeleton army. The plot is rather interesting, and I’m not referring to the Lady Yodo and son “bonding” that goes on either. But the action keeps pace and moves the story right along. You do become quite interested in this “true story” behind some historical events, as the movie sets itself up as.
The Vixens take heavy losses in this straight from
