Very nice card. If you are making it for a specific person I am sure they will appreciate it.

There's been a meme going around dA recently, and I decided to do it. Our art, each year from 2003 to last year. You can find my version here. Feel free to laugh at my old stuff; I sure did. ^o^

HAHAHAHAHA.... YOU SUCK!!

There you go, I complied with your request.
Still like that x-mas one from 2004. You are going to have to send me some prints of a couple of them. :)

LOL, that should be "sucked", not "suck"! ^_~

I just don't know what you see in my old art, heh. The line art is okay for some of them but the painting... >_>

I don't think the old stuff is that bad. Heck they are a lot better then I can do.

I can understand why you'd be so hard on yourself (we're always our worst critics), but you have to consider that even though your earlier stuff isn't as polished as your newer work, they are, taken on their own, very good. I think it was really interesting to see your evolution as an artist presented that way. ^_^

I still really love the woman with the little bat. The Christmas '07 card is great. I don't remember seeing the first piece you posted for 2008 but I like what I see of it a lot. You're just plain fabulous.

Haha, thanks, guys and LLA. ^^ I just...laugh at how I used to paint. ^o^ The almost-cel-shading-but-not-quite and the super high contrast. (These days, I actually sometimes have the opposite problem with contrast, though...)

I still like the girl with the bat too! But I mean, I look at my art from as recently as 2007, and I'm like,
"...Mmmm, yeah, I can definitely do better than that now." For that first one in the 2008 row, what you see is pretty much all there was to that one for the moment. It was just a doodle. You can see the whole thing here, though. I actually still like that one too, and I've been thinking about doing a full illustration with her since I painted that (as you can see from the description, LOL!). ^^

And I just posted a new piece today as well: Leah. ^^ (This is what the WIP that was in the bottom border of the meme became.)

lol - "Just a doodle" she says! Pretty darn good for a doodle. ^_~ If that's just the doodle I'd love to see a full illustration.

Leah is super cute! The chocolate in her hand is a nice touch.

The "doodle" looks great. Hope you finish the clothing.

The only complaint I have about Leah is that her legs seem pretty long, but other then that good pic.

Leah is cute. I like the semi-chibi look.

Thanks! It's more work than a regular chibi, but I think it might be worth it! ^^

To me what stands out to me is the eyes as well as the hair and the lighting.

To me what stands out is the cleavage. Well that and the piercings. Then again this is me we're talking about... The eyes are also very prominent and initally draw the attention, but the placing of the heart tattoo... Very nice picture Geikou. :smt023

LOL, thank you. ^_~ I've been on a roll painting guys recently--most of my newest WIPs feature guys--and I know that my best friend (who's a guy) is very disappointed by this (even if he still likes my art), so I thought I'd toss a hot chick into the mix. ^_~

My first attempt at Sculpey is up! I decided to spend a couple more hours on him this afternoon. Hopefully will be able to bake him tonight.
