Looks to me like hashmark (our IRC chat server) is down completely. I've been unable to connect by any means on any connection. I even tried to connect to hashmark bypassing DNS and giving an IP address for the server directly and still am unable to connect. Looks like for the time being, we won't have chat, unless DF wants to create something on another server temporarily.......

*EDIT* Shugo (logging PC) is still connected(!?) so I investigated further. Apparently, The Powers That Be are in the process of transferring their domain to a different server due to lingering fears of SOPA, and the new IP address has not propagated throughout the interwebs. Wish they would have given us a warning, but that's the reason why nobody can connect. Why Shugo remained connected to chat during this whole process is beyond me - I guess he's super dedicated to his chat logging duties. All I can say is, keep trying to connect to chat periodically, and post here when you can get through - preferably with an IP address so others can get on without having to wait for DNS changes on their local servers.

You can access chat on an irc client (mIRC, chatzilla, etc) by using /server 216.230.225.59 to connect.

I changed the Chat link to directly connect to the ip address as well, so you should be able to get on again for now.

Tsuyoshi,

Did you remove the "Fun Pictures" from the Art Gallery?
I was just looking through the Art Gallery, and noticed it was gone.

Edit:
Okay...
I see you were just making adjustments, and adding in some new sections to the Gallery.

Tsuyoshi,

Here's a new one.

At the top of the web page multiples of this error have appeared.
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/session.php on line 1024: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /index.php(1) : eval()'d code:7)

Also I got an alert about darktech.org from my NoScript blocking program.

Please tell me this isn't your doing?

I've had the same issue.

Just on the main page, and my NoScript is blocking flnet.org

I'm seeing the same basic thing. However I don't have no script so I don't see that part.

This is what I'm seeing:
Code: Select all
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 4505: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /index.php(1) : eval()'d code:7)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 4507: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /index.php(1) : eval()'d code:7)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 4508: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /index.php(1) : eval()'d code:7)
[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 4509: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /index.php(1) : eval()'d code:7)

I'm using Firefox 3.6.28 on Windows XP.

Yeah, I get that also.
I went and looked up both.
They seem to be DNS servers. :?

Not only that, that weird error appears, but Avast! Antivirus also pops up and says "Malicious threat detected". You should probably get rid of whatever that is pretty fast.

Everyone should run a Malware scan too.

I don't know what you did Tsuyoshi,

But now the top header has: "PHP Creating Communities" in it.
Plus, the Search function is now up there too. #-o

Still get the other errors as well. :(

Note: I get the errors whether logged in or not.

I got the same antivirus warning myself and the header of the site is all f**ked up. I'm not sure how you're not seeing it, have you tried different browsers?

Geikou has the same issue (her AVG claims to have blocked a Trojan), and Teggy actually *caught* a virus.

I've reset the forums to a fresh install so all previous modifications (such as spoiler tag and quickreply) have been wiped out and any injected code to the old files.

Teach you people to use IE. Not a lick of trouble with chrome.

I'll handle the rest when I'm not busy with family issues and have time.

Teggy said that she was also running Avast! but the virus apparently somehow slipped through.

Thank you for your hard work, DF! Things seem to be all right now, though, no warnings or anything, although there are still php errors on the front page. Firefox 11 on Windows 7 here, BTW.

No more error messages, and no more alerts from NoScript. :-D

Looks like some things have been solved.

But the Smilies are looking weird.

Thanks for the hard work Tsuyoshi. :D

I'll be looking through as many forums as possible,
and report back any findings.
