Ok now I am miffed. I am still waiting for my laptop, according to the statues it is currently in the "burn in" stage. But when I went to the site to check what they had available for drivers the price of the laptop dropped over $100, which is actually the price I thought it should have been in the first place especially in comparison to non USB 3.0 models. ARG.

As for the fingerprint reader just added security. Some people are pretty paranoid. I know I have a password on my laptop because I hate it when other people use my stuff.

It isn't any different in most anything you buy now a days.
I thought I was getting a good deal on a 1TB Harddrive SATA for $85.00.
Two months later, and the drives are down to $65.00.
That's a $20.00 difference.
But it mostly is supply and demand now.
Retail stores buy 1000 units at whole sale prices.
Then do 100% mark up {Or More} on each unit.
If the demand isn't there within a certain amount of time.
The retailer will cut 5 or 10% off to attract buyers.
If sales remain flat after that.
The retailer will slash the price even more.
If the Items still haven't sold a month or so before the next newer units will be arriving in the stores.
Surplus or Dollar Stores buy the old stock and get what they can for them.

Having password protection during your logon is always a good Idea.
But a Biometric Finger Print Scanner is just a bit much.
I would be more worried about someone just walking off with the Laptop.
Then taking the Hard Drive out and scanning it for your personal information.
Credit card numbers, Social Security Number, Bank Account Numbers, Blizzard Game Accounts, etc.......

Well after going off cone advice of a relative and jessikitty, I called in and ask if I could b refunded the difference. The operator said no they could not, but they did say they could give me a full refund and I could order again and I decided to do that. Sort of felt bad because according to the statues update it was already assembled and they finished testing and burn in (really the first time I ever heard of it done on computers personally) and were poised to ship it, so I kind of felt bad. Ah well.

Basically will order it again but since it is cheaper I suppose I will order the same thing only go for a faster processor which puts it back to what I originally paid.
